WE’RE EASY TO TALK TO & EASY TO FIND.

THE CENTRE

The Gilbert Centre is a community-based, not-for-profit, charitable organization that has been providing programs and services in Simcoe Muskoka for over 25 years. We are proud to celebrate the lives of people living with and affected by HIV and the individuals and families from the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) communities. The Gilbert Centre, named after a founder Ed Gilbert, not only reflects the change in HIV, but also embraces the expansion of programming to serve lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender individuals and families.

WHY DO
WE CARE?

WE’VE BEEN IN YOUR SHOES. WE CAN HELP.

NOT SURE
WHERE TO
START?

SOCIAL & SUPPORT PROGRAMS

Whether you’re looking to connect with a community, or sit down one on one to receive support, we’ve got a program. If you’re looking for something a little more social, we have groups for gay and bi men, gender variant and trans people, and LGBTQ2S youth. If you want a little more support, we have Gender Journeys, Sexual Health programming, HIV Support, and more!

WE’RE ALWAYS  HERE WHEN YOU NEED US.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

If you’re looking for more information and resources, we have everything from general HIV, HEP C, Sexual Health, and LGBTQ info, right up to formal research! We have more than resources though, there’s many ways to engage with us. Book a presentation, see where you can find us in the community, and learn how to create more inclusive and accessible services for your agency.

YOU CAN
COUNT
ON US.

OUR GOAL IS TO SUPPORT YOU.

TO OUR GENEROUS FUNDERS, WE THANK YOU!
